Ri-Gener-Azioni

Ri-Gener-Azioni | Young People at the Heart of the Public Presentation Event

Saturday 24 October, from 10.00 am – Orti del Bastione and Skate Park

A day dedicated to creativity, inclusion and active participation: this is the heart of the event that will bring the City of Piero and Art to life on Saturday 24 October

An initiative centred on local young people, the true protagonists and driving forces behind a shared journey of growth

The energy and value of this initiative lie in the direct involvement of students, particularly the pupils at IPSIA Buitoni and those studying Architecture and Environment and Graphic Design at Liceo Giovagnoli. Their active participation has been fundamental in shaping, developing ideas for and bringing the whole project to fruition, demonstrating how schools can be spaces open to the wider community and voluntary organisations

THE PROGRAMME:

• Activities will begin in the morning at the Orti del Bastione, maintained and managed by Floema APS, with doors opening at 10.00 am
• This will be followed, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, by a creative workshop open to all girls and boys
• After lunch, the highlight of the early afternoon will be at 2.00 pm, with the start of the ‘Follow your soul’ Street Parade. From the Orti, we’ll head to the Campaccio Skate Park, where the party will officially kick off at 3.00 pm
• 3.30 pm: ‘Follow kindness and inclusion’ workshop
• 4.00 pm: Official presentation of the project, reviewing the stages of its development, the challenges faced, and a reminder to young people of the importance of active participation in community life
• Followed by: “The Project and the School”, a session dedicated to teachers’ testimonies and impressions. And then: “Follow your voice” Open Mic, to give young people a direct platform to share their stories
• The day will draw to a close with music from DJ Barone, followed by the closing remarks at 6.30 pm

Everyone is invited to take part to support and celebrate the talent and dedication of our young people! The project was conceived by Focus Crew APS and Floema APS, and has been realised thanks to the call for proposals “Siete Presente. Young People and Community Organisations. Ed. 2026”, as part of the “Giovanisì – Spazi di crescita” project, promoted by Cesvot and funded by the Tuscany Region – Giovanisì, in agreement with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service, with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze
