Day 1
Sansepolcro
We start from Sansepolcro, the village located at the foot of the last stretch of the Tuscan Apennines, rich in history and culture to which you must dedicate a day. In the beautiful old town you will easily appreciate every single glimpse. Among the main places to visit there is the Museo Civico, where are preserved the works of Piero della Francesca, born in Sansepolcro, of Pontormo and Della Robbia, are preserved; Heading towards the main square of the village you will come across the thousand-year-old Cathedral of S. Giovanni Evangelista with inside the Ascension of Perugino, the Resurrection of Raffaellino del Colle and the magnificent Holy Face, object of deep devotion. Hermitage of Montecasale

Day 2
Monterchi
Always famous in the world for the small museum that houses the Madonna del Parto by Piero della Francesca, Monterchi is perched in the middle of a plain and surrounded by rolling hills. Here you can appreciate the historical walls still well preserved and take a walk in the historic center that retains many memories of its medieval past. Inside the country you can also visit the Museum of Scales, unique in Europe, which houses more than 150 elements to document all the stages of the history of weighting. From the panoramic terrace overlooking the Porta del Granaio, the view is 360° on the surrounding territories, and it is easy to admire the authentic and unspoiled beauty of this land.
Anghiari
Anghiari is undoubtedly the most evocative medieval village of the Valtiberina, perched on a hill in the direction of the Arezzo area and surrounded by powerful thirteenth-century walls, its name is famous for the Battle of June 29, 1440, frescoed by Leonardo Da Vinci in Palazzo Vecchio. Time seems to have stopped in the alleys of the historic center, dotted with artisan shops, antiques and furniture restoration workshops. You can visit the Museum of the Battle and Anghiari and the Museum of Palazzo Taglieschi, which together with the churches, preserve masterpieces of painting and sculpture. At every corner you will come across panoramic views and breathtaking perspectives, which make this country so picturesque and charming.
Day 3
Caprese Michelangelo
Going up towards the Apennine ridge, on the valley of the river Singerna is located Caprese Michelangelo, the very name of the village, proudly refers to the famous Michelangelo Buonarroti, who was born here on March 6, 1475 and whose native house has now become the Museo Casa Natale Michelangelo Buonarroti. For its serene and secluded beauty, this valley has also been called in the past "The small valley of God". At its center is the castle of Caprese, consisting of three main buildings the Palazzo del Podestà (Birthplace of Michelangelo), Palazzo Clusini and the high court. Caprese Michelangelo is not centralized in a single nucleus but the population lives scattered in various small hamlets and groups of houses. Among chestnut and oak woods you will discover characteristic villages, ancient stone buildings and centres of faith and spirituality such as the Eremo della Casella, which can be reached on foot with a beautiful walk. Caprese Michelangelo is also known for its gastronomic specialties of mushrooms, truffles and Marrone DOP, whose festival takes place every October in the historic center of the country.
Pieve Santo Stefano
Pieve Santo Stefano rises to the north of the Valtiberina and is surrounded by greenery, between the Tiber River and its tributary Ancione that divide the small historic center into two parts connected by two bridges, Ponte Nuovo and Ponte Vecchio. Here you can visit the Little Museum of the Diary, an experiential museum fundamental stop of the tourist itinerary Memory Route. If you are a lover of nature and sports activities, just outside the village there is Lake Montedoglio, which offers a nature trail with wonderful landscapes, and where you can practice many disciplines such as canoeing, sailing, mountain biking and trekking.
