Space Bernardini-Fatti,  more commonly known as the Stained Glass Museum,  is situated in the church of San Giovanni Battista, one of the oldest in the city, the earliest records of which date back to 1126; today it is bare and without altars, but presents traces of frescoes on the walls dating back to the fourteenth century.

It was for this church that Piero della Francesca painted the famous Baptism of Christ today in the National Gallery in London, while the panels by Matteo di Giovanni (which completed it) can be seen in the Museo Civico di Sansepolcro.
