Orchestral, choral and chamber music fills every square, church and cloister during the Anghiari Festival. Every July, London’s Sinfonia Smith Square – an orchestra of exceptional young talents from all over the world – takes up residence in the town for a week of captivating performances! Sinfonia Smith Square is a unique orchestra that provides graduate musicians from around the world with the springboard they need to launch their professional careers. Every year, its members undertake an extensive, nine-month intensive programme designed to develop their professional and performance skills. For several years now, Anghiari has been the orchestra’s favourite venue for its performances; the orchestra is loved by all, and its members are, to all intents and purposes, very welcome friends who return to our area.
 
The packed programme features afternoon and evening concerts in various venues; the magic that fills the narrow streets of the historic centre, its squares and most picturesque spots is truly one of a kind.
 
Tickets for the evening concerts cost €12.00, but there are also many free events, making classical music accessible to everyone. Tickets are available from the Anghiari Pro Loco or on the official website. A season ticket for all evening concerts can be purchased for €80.00.
