Monterchi Festival 2026 | Summer Music Festival

Every summer, the Monterchi Festival returns to the main square of the town of Monterchi! This music festival has been a fixture of summers in the Tuscan Valtiberina for over 20 years, filling the welcoming atmosphere of the square in the historic centre of this small village – and the gardens surrounding the museum that houses *La Madonna del Parto* – with the sounds of blues, jazz and classical music
 
 

THE PROGRAMME:

 

• Wednesday 22 July: Symphonic Concert (as part of the Anghiari Festival, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Anghiari) – Featuring the Smith Square Symphony Orchestra; conducted by Eugene Lee. Music by Tchaikovsky’s ‘Serenade for Strings’ and Mendelssohn’s ‘Symphony No. 4 (Italian)’ – Admission €12.00
   
• Saturday 1 August: Monterchi Vigil – Based on an idea by Vittorio Perla; curated by Terzilio Fedeli; in collaboration with the band “Preludio” – Free admission
   
• Tuesday 4 August: Maurizio Marrani Trio – Special guest: Lisa Primavera. Featuring Maurizio Marrani (piano), Graziano Brufani (bass), Nicola Polidori (drums), Lisa Primavera (vocals) – Free admission
   
• Thursday 20 August: Federico Gili La Lanterna – Featuring a special guest appearance by Ares Tavolazzi. Featuring Federico Gili (accordion), Lorenzo Bisogno (tenor sax), Manuel Magrini (piano), Ares Tavolazzi (bass), Lorenzo Brilli (drums) – Free entry
