Tovaglia a Quadri is celebrating its 31st anniversary! The 31st year of Tovaglia a Quadri aims to provide an opportunity to showcase and promote the vast intangible heritage that has been built up over the years, whilst raising awareness amongst the community from which this heritage stems of its potential in terms of future growth and development.
 
Tovaglia a Quadri is a theatrical dinner, comprising four courses, featuring traditional dishes from the Tuscan hinterland and locally sourced produce; Throughout the dinner, diners are drawn into and actively participate in the staging of the play, which remains within the bounds of historical accuracy whilst consistently addressing pressing contemporary issues, all delivered with the characteristic humour that defines the writing of Andrea Merendelli (who also directs) and Paolo Pennacchini.
 
‘Tovaglia a Quadri’ takes place every evening for ten consecutive days at Castello di Sorci, confirming its status as one of the most eagerly awaited and beloved events of the Tuscan summer!
