At the same time as the Creative Games, in the next room, from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm, ‘A Nutritionist in the Family’ will take place – a series of sessions led by nutritionist and biologist Michela Chielli, focusing on the various stages of family life at the table. From weaning and children’s nutrition to caring for the elderly, the programme offers practical tools, useful advice and opportunities for discussion
 
Two different yet coordinated activities, taking place at the same time and in the same venue, to allow parents and children to enjoy an educational and creative afternoon, each in their own space

SCHEDULE OF MEETINGS:
 

• Saturday 25 April > A Nutritionist in the Family – The early years at the table: the importance of listening and communication – Do you feel your child eats very little and always the same things? Are you at a loss as to how to get them to enjoy fruit and vegetables? Let’s explore together what lies behind their food choices and refusals, and how to gradually encourage them to try a wider variety of foods. If you’re expecting a list of tricks to get them to eat everything, you won’t find it here, but if you’d like to understand how to listen and communicate better with them, you’re very welcome
   
• Saturday 23 May > A Nutritionist in the Family - What shall I feed them today? - Let’s explore how to put together a balanced meal suitable for your children. We’ll also look at practical tips and examples for breakfasts and snacks
   
• Saturday 20 June > A Nutritionist in the Family – So grown-up and yet so fragile. Caring for our elderly also involves food – A session dedicated to those who, whether through work or out of affection, look after an elderly person’s diet. Whether it’s a lack of appetite, difficulty swallowing or gastrointestinal issues, we’ll explore together how to manage them
