80th Anniversary of the Italian Republic | And of Women’s Suffrage
Saturday 30 May, 11.00 am – Town Hall Council Chamber
An occasion to commemorate an achievement that has profoundly shaped the country’s history and, at the same time, to pay tribute to those who have built that history over time through their commitment, participation and service to the community
On Saturday 30 May at 11.00 am, in the Sansepolcro Town Council Chamber, a ceremony will be held to mark the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic and women’s suffrage, an anniversary that represents one of the most significant milestones in our country’s democratic history
The initiative, promoted by the Municipal Administration, will be an opportunity to celebrate an anniversary of profound historical and civic significance, but also to pay heartfelt tribute to the women who, over the years, have been part of the town’s administrative life, holding roles within the Town Council or the successive executive committees
A gesture of great symbolic significance, designed to highlight the contribution of women who have chosen to put their skills, time and sense of responsibility at the service of the city, contributing to the growth of the community and actively participating in the shaping of local public life
